The village you've been looking for.

There's a village waiting for you at Canvas. The parents who become friends. The friends who become family. The kids who grow up alongside people who know their names. This is parenting, fuller.

For parents

We're not just here for your kids.

Parenting is hard. You shouldn't do it alone.

Parent Newsletter

Each week you'll receive resources from us so that you can continue the conversations that are started on Sunday with your child and be equipped to help them in their faith journey.

Parent Community

Throughout the year we offer spaces and events for parents to connect and build community with one another.

Need a sitter?

We have a growing list of sitters that you can use so that you and your partner can go on a date and know your child is in great hands.

Your first Sunday

Made easy.

A short list to take the guesswork out of your first morning.

01

Arrive 10 minutes early.

A few extra minutes makes everything easier — parking, check-in, and helping your kid feel settled before service.

02

Stop at Family Check-In.

Look for the desk near the entrance. A Canvas Kids teammate will check in your kids and get them a name tag. Note: check-in closes 30 minutes after each service has begun.

03

Give your kid a minute to land.

First Sundays can feel big. Help them meet a leader, see their room, and find a familiar face. Our trained team will take it from there so you can go and enjoy the service.

04

Got a question? Just ask.

Every adult in a Canvas Families t-shirt is there to help. We want this to feel easy — not figured out.

From other Canvas parents

The village, in their own words.

"Our daughter has found some of her best friends at Canvas and so have we!"

— Chris & Anna, parent of 8-year old

"We love that every week our child not only has fun but is reminded that God loves them and that they have so much purpose."

— Christy, parent of 9-year old

"We're so thankful our teenager has a space to build community and explore their faith!"

— Allison, parent of 14-year old

preparing for your first sunday
Here's some best practices to make your child's first visit a great one!
01.
Arrive a few minutes early
This will allow your child to get familiar with the space, meet our fun team, and begin to feel comfortable. Please note that our check-in for Canvas Kids closes 30 minutes after service begins.
02.
Stop at the family check-in desk
Head over to our Canvas Kids check-in where a teammate will be there ready to greet you. You'll get a name tag for your child and a matching one for you.
03.
Give your child time to settle in.
We get it. Sometimes drop off can be hard for your child. But our trained team is ready and equipped to help your child transition into Canvas Kids and will let you know if they need your assistance. We ask that you please refrain from checking in on your child after drop off as it often can make it even harder for your child to settle into a new environment.
04.
Concerned or have questions? You can always talk to a teammate if needed
If we need you, we'll text you on your phone. But if you have any questions or concerns, there will always be a Canvas Kids teammate at the check-in desk ready to answer any of your questions.
